Carriageway Park / Tuthangga (Park 17)

Tuthangga is the Kaurna word for grass place, and a well-known feature of this park is the elm trees which line a former carriageway, planted in the 1860s.

The park contains a large variety of native vegetation, and is home to a huge variety of sporting fields for sports including cricket, soccer and touch football.
